Daytime rains and an evening drizzle did little to dampen the spirits of an estimated 10,000 revelers in downtown. The Ennis marching band, dressed in full regalia, were joined by the Lionettes and the Cheer team, as well as bands from Rice and Scurry-Rosser. A total of just over 90 entries filled the hourlong parade, and 30+ vendors were kept busy, as were downtown shops.
