Thursday, May 1, the Ennis Ministerial Alliance will host a downtown gathering to observe the National Day of Prayer. It is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Minnie McDowal Park at the corner of N. Dallas and W. Knox around the gazebo. Seating is limited, though many provide their own. The public intercession is about an hour in length.
