Assuming there was a winner in the March 14 runoff between Chad Wester and David Espedal, the victor earned the unexpired term of Mayor Pro Tem in Ennis. The not-so-good news is the term lasts until the end of April 2026, or seven weeks. A new three-year term will be up for grabs on Saturday, May 2, as part of the General Election.
