Having grown up in Waxahachie, a move to the Bluebonnet City, albeit prompted by marriage, sent Heather Marie Mikel over the top. “It didn’t take long, but I fell for Ennis. I love this town,” she said this week. It helps that her husband, Josh Mikel, who does customized construction, is an Ennis native.
