St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 901 Park Street, has declared 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, for their annual Blessing of the Animals date. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place under shading trees outdoors. In the event of rain, the blessing festivities will held in the church building, located adjacent to Old Lake and Kiwanis Park west of North Preston.
