Veterans Day Program on tap for Nov. 11

Area residents are invited to the annual Veterans Day program at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Veterans Memorial Park located behind Don Jose's Restaurant.  According to Budy Markham, masks and social distancing guidelines should be adhered. Those attending should plan to bring their own chair.  The cermony should end before noon. Ennis City Manager and veteran Marty Nelson will bring a short message. Veterans will be recognized. The laying of a wreath is scheduled as is a gun salute.
