Ennis City Commissioner Shirley Watson was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Nov. 12 by the Ellis County African-American Hall of Fame & Museum.
The annual event, held at the United Methodist Church at 505 W. Marvin in Waxahachie, celebrated Watson and nine others during their “One Giant Step for Humanity” theme. Each was selected for their work and accomplishments around the county.
