Ennis’ 40 miles of scenic driving trails are blooming and ready for your viewing pleasure. According to the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival Facebook page, “while not all areas on the trail are at peak bloom just yet, there are already some vibrant patches to be discovered!” Maps are available at the Ennis Welcome Center, 201 NW Main St. or download at www.bluebonnettrail.org.

Palmer ISD has magnetic appeal
There is a magnetic appeal taking place eight miles north of Ennis. Palmer is drawing 95% of their high school students to enroll in at least one Career and Technical Education (CTE) class. Officially, they had 365 yieldto- the-appeal last year, only to see that number swell to over 405 this fall. The city is growing at 2% and has a projected 2026 population of 2,725 residents.
