Summer gas prices, often rising for reasons of profitability, remain lower than a year ago as vacation season kicks into overdrive.
While stations in Midlothian are showing $2.59 a gallon, about ten cents above average according to GasBuddy, Dallas prices have dropped 4.7 cents in the past week. In a survey of 1,605 stations, the average at the middle of this week stood at $2.49.
