Waxahachie native Aeriel Horton, who graduated from NCAA Division I Houston Baptist University, signed on July 17 with Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) as their first-ever graduate transfer student-athlete.
She inked an NAIA Letter of Intent and will play for the Lady Lions volleyball team. Horton was a fouryear veteran on the HBU beach volleyball team.
