huge crowd was on hand at Thursday’s Taste of Ennis at the Knights of Columbus Hall, where 29 area restaurants contributed to a fund-raising event with proceeds going to support Helping Hands of Ennis. Judging by the smiles, there was plenty to like. Enjoying the smorgasboard is Dr. Alexander Weir, while Waxahachie DA Ann Montgomery, Bill Dodson and Patsy Grider Erickson socialize.
