Former Ennis Mayor Bill Lewis, 93, was interviewed recently by WFAA-Channel 8, the ABC affiliate in Dallas, about his longevity as the last surviving member of the Ennis-based Honor Flight of Ellis County. According to the television segment that aired last week, Lewis is also the last living veteran of World War II in the city.
