Patricia Riley, age 60, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 13, 2020, peacefully in Ennis, Texas, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on Dec. 17, 1959, to Joseph and Helen Barak. She graduated from Saint John Catholic School in 1978. She had her own business which she worked tirelessly to provide for her family.

Patricia was a strong woman who worked hard every day and sacrificed for those she loved. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandma. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She made sure to attend every game, recital and extracurricular activity they participated in.

She was a devout Catholic woman who drew her strength from her faith which was expressed throughout her home filled with a beautiful religious collection.

Patricia enjoyed shopping, especially from HSN, crafting and her plants. She also enjoyed making blankets for sick children and always had her eye out for a red bird. She was and always will be an inspiration to many because of her courageous determination throughout her 3 year battle with cancer.

Her family would like everyone to know that even though she just received her wings, she was always our ANGEL!

She is survived by her are her husband of 4 years, Eddie Riley; parents, Joe and Helen Barak; children, Amanda Meachum and husband Bret, Eric Jessup and wife Chelcie, Amber Vrana and husband Robert, Jr. and stepson Scott Riley; grandchildren, Josh, Alyson, Brayden, Erin, Kolton, Kale, Ella, and Jovie; sisters, Dianne McCarty and Barbara Zhanel; brothers, Joey Barak, Alan Barak, and Jimmy Barak and many extended family members.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
