After the story ran lately on Mrs. P.V. Allen, one-time leading businesswoman of Ennis, I received a couple of emails from locals, reminding me of the more recent success of Henrietta Novotny in the business life of Ennis. I know Mrs. Novotny well and have written about her in this column before.
