The popular local gospel group Ellis County Singers are scheduled to perform at the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis, 210 N. McKinney St., at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.
The choir, many members of which recently sang at New York’s Carnegie Hall, rehearses at the First Baptist Church (FBC), Waxahachie, where they’re directed by Chett Haynes, the church’s associate pastor for music and worship.
