Psalm 145 is postexile; perhaps a 5th or 4th century B.C. The psalm praises God by a series of statements about his attributes, especially his gracious way of dealing with men. His tenderness embraces all of his children. Verses 11-13 “kingdom” is mentioned four times and this may be regarded as the central theme of the psalm. It can also be considered a psalm of confession of faith.
