A fiery head-on collision claimed the lives of two drivers just east of I-45 on State Highway 34 at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Dark smoke from the crash could be seen for miles and traffic on Hwy 34 was shutdown for nearly five hours.
