Drive any where in town, along I-45 or U.S. 287 and the signs are everywhere. It is alarming and the numbers indicate it is getting more common and more dangerous.
On the highway texters will occupy the left lane – often because there are fewer vehicles in the passing lane, because they can see further ahead and allow for more car lengths between cars. Never mind the lane is designed for passing.
