Friday Night Lights are on!

Lion Memorial Stadium was the site of last Friday night’s season opener between No. 7 ranked Ennis and No. 12 Red Oak. Results are posted in Sports. The Lions entertain Class 6A Keller Fossil Ridge this Friday, Sept. 3 before playing at Waxahachie on Sept. 10 in the Battle of 287. Area schools, Ferris, Palmer, Italy and Avalon - the Big 5, have also kicked off the 2021 football seasons.
