Ennis Independent School District has begun a search for a new police chief to head-up the eight-person staff after the recent resignation of Jeremy Scruggs.
According to EISD Superintendent Jay Tullos, applications are now being received after the posting of the job on the district website. The current deadline for applications is February 22, though the date may be extended if needed.
