Tuesday at the EISD headquarters at W. Knox and N. Sherman, it was announced that Julie Pierce had handed in her letter of resignation. Her nine years of service came during a time the Board of Trustees were in need for sturdy and steady leaders to help govern the Ennis Independent School District.
