A harrowing accident a year ago, Sept. 9, 2021, nearly took the life of Jeremy Griggs.
A motorist pulled out in front of Griggs on Highway 34, who was on a motorcycle, and he swerved to avoid impact. The motorist sped off and was never found. Another motorist passing through stopped to render aid and called 911. Griggs’ memories are fuzzy after he lost a month in a coma.
