A 59-year-old Ennis man, David Longoria, drowned at Lake Bardwell on Sunday, Sept. 25.
Several agencies responded to the report of a middle-aged man who, according to witnesses at Highview Park, had “flipped off an inflatable float of some kind” and disappeared into the water around 2:15 p.m.
A dive team from the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office responded and recovered the body of Longoria at 7:20 p.m.…
