A hotel recently submitted plans for approval to build the first lodging facility in Ennis in over a decade. Fairfield by Marriott will soon break ground adjacent to Chick-fil-A, east of northbound I-45.
According to Ennis Director of Planning and Development, Mark Richardson, the plans have been granted and the Fairfield will be facing Sonoma Trail.
