It is a fundamental belief of mine that no matter who is serving in an elected office, it is important that we show that office respect and that we support the efforts that it makes to serve its people. But, I have never before seen a President stand before his people to give a State of the Union that left me feeling more deceived and discouraged than I was this past Tuesday night.
