It took a decade to return to the top of the food chain, but the Ennis Lions are once again the Jungle Kings of district play. Friday, March 10, they used a hat trick from junior Regan Trojacek to defeat Terrell, 3-1. It capped a 10-1-1 season in District 14-5A, and according to Athletic Director, Don Drake, it was the Lions’ first district championship since 2012.
