Scorching summer heat has had an impact on some crops and yet corn is expecting a great crop, according one local farmer.
“Temperatures and rain have blessed our crops this year,” said Bardwell resident Bob Beakley on Wednesday. “It’s only been the past three weeks that have hurt our fields.”
