Heavy rains earlier this week led to flooding and sewage backups in a handful of homes in the Ward 5 district of west Ennis.
Reports of damage to at least six homes along Williamsburg Drive and Country Club Drive, and where Jeter Drive connects with them, occurred when over seven inches of rain fell overnight.
