Growth in Ellis County has spurred the need for a new sub-courthouse, where the current Justice of the Peace will function. On October 20, Ellis County Judge Todd Little, the four Ellis County Commissioners, and McGough Construction met to host a groundbreaking ceremony on the south side of U.S. 287-Business near Waxahachie High School.
