A fitting kickoff to the Polka Fest is once again set for Friday night, May 23, at KJT Auditorium. For 38-years and running, young and old will compete at 9pm at 1216 S. Paris Street.
Last year Jerry & Kimberly Petter, dressed in full regalia, won first place and were awarded King & Queen sashes. They danced and whirled the halfstep, covering much space on the floor as they circled about.
