Class 4A Ferris enters its second season under HC Tony Castillo. The Jackets were 4-6 a year ago, before a 42-40 last game win over Wills Point (5-5), which qualified for the Stingers for the playoffs. Van Alstyne (9-4) topped Ferris 54-15 in the first round of the playoffs.
