During Tuesday’s City Commission meeting, Chris Macon, the local Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1, was appointed as Municipal Judge in Ennis. He follows the retired Judge Gene Knize and Joyce Lindauer, a Dallas- based attorney, who stepped down after she served in the role over eight years. She remains in Ennis and will focus her time on being a grandmother as well as her law practice.
