David Joe Mach

David Joe Mach, 72, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

David was born in Ennis, Texas on August 24, 1947 to John C. and Mary (Krajca) Mach. David grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John High School in 1965. On November 8, 1969 he married the love of his life Patricia Mahdak and they made their home in Ennis. David served his country proudly in the United States Army serving in Vietnam.

David was the owner of a 7-11 Allied, worked with Mach Brothers Construction as a trim carpenter with his brother James and was Co- Owner of Mach Construction with his son for nineteen years. David was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish of Ferris, KJT and SPJST. David’s family was the joy of his life. He enjoyed working on his farm with the cattle and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of over fifty years, Patricia Mach; daughter, Lori Mach; son, David Mach, Jr. and wife, Michelle; grandchildren: David Brent Mach, Christopher Mach, Charles Mach, Andrew Mach; Samantha Hinkle and Alexis Mach; great-granddaughter, Emiry Mach; brother, Johnny Mach; sisters: Ellene Stout and Ella Pruski along with a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Mach; brother-in-laws: Ronnie Stout and John Little.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 4 p.m.

Mass of the Christian Burial was held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Corpus Christi Catholic Parish of Ferris with Father Melito as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St Joseph Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
