Frank Julius Zaidle, of Tulsa, OK, passed away of natural causes on Oct. 17, 2022. He was 95 years old.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura, five children, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and one more on the way.

Frank was born Oct. 1, 1927, to Frank and Frances Zaidle in Ennis, TX. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and was honored with a bronze star medal. Upon graduation of Army Spanish Training, he was deployed to Columbia and Bolivia in South America. While in Bolivia, he met his future wife, Laura Ester. Together they raised five beautiful kids in Tulsa. After his army service, Frank went on to have a 40-year career in postal services.

He will be remembered and honored for all the sacrifices and constant love he provided for his family.

Frank was the youngest of seven children. He was preceded in death by his five sisters: Florence Evans, Janie Murphy Addison, Philomena Cikanek, Ann Pero and Alice Lewellen, and brother, Leon.

Memorial services were held at Spirit Life Church, 5345 S. Peoria Ave., on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans Foundation at DAV.org.
