Jack Digby Howard was born on September 12, 1928, on a cotton farm in Ennis, Texas. He is the son of Tom Howard and Fay Fallen Howard. Jack’s father, Tom Howard, was a star running back for the Ennis Lions football team in the mid-1920’s. His grandfather, Logan Fallen was the first of the Fallen Family to settle in Ennis Texas.
