Jenevie Heine, 78, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

Jenevie was born in Kaufman County on March 15, 1941 to Frank and Frances (Kubin) Svoboda, Sr. She grew up in Celina and graduated from Celina High School in 1959. In 1966 she married Ray Heine and they made their home in Dallas.

Jenevie was the owner of Lakeview Grocery for fifteen years and also for TI for three years. Jenevie loved to play softball, golf and baseball. She also enjoyed painting.

She is survived by two sons: Darrell Heine and wife, Amber and Michael Heine and wife, Stephanie; daughters: Karen Minser and husband, Keith and Deanna Doerr; nine grandchildren: Ty, Paige, Camryn, Tallon, Karson, Abbey, Daniel, Josh and Maddie; two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Avery; brothers: Frank Svoboda, Jr. and wife, Sharon and Joe Svoboda and wife, Theresa sister, Mary Waugh; special family member, Tammy Jackson along with a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her life was held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Jarod Douglas officiating. Interment was held in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
