Jerry Harold Stewart

Jerry Harold Stewart, age 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020. He was born in Kaufman County on September 18, 1942 to Isaac and Edna Whitely Stewart. He grew up in Peeltown, Texas.

On June 19, 1962, Jerry married Beverly Fredregill. Jerry was a master plumber and he had made his home in Ennis for the past 50 plus years. He enjoyed playing guitar and played with a band called “The Country Tops” for a period. He also enjoyed singing, dancing and watching Westerns. Jerry loved to be outside and work in his garden and care for the fruit trees. He loved fishing and he his dog were best buds.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Nancy Stewart, Susan Martinez and husband Jesse, Tina Madewell and husband Scott; son, Joey Stewart; grandchildren, Phillip Conner, Chris Conner, Valleri Conner, Jake Martinez, Michael Martinez, Jessica DeMaria, Nichole Chennette, and Dakota Stewart; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Stewart and Jackie Stewart; sisters, Shirley Duckworth, Linda Sandefer and Ruby Bolton.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Edna Stewart; brothers, Doyle Glenn Stewart and Travis Stewart, son Craig Marshall.
