Jimmy “James” Rogers, Jr., age 69, passed away in Ennis on January 18, 2021. He was born on August 9, 1951, in Hope, Arkansas, to James Alton and Earlene (Hogan) Rogers. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed driving trucks across the country. He ran a local paint and body shop by the name of Delux Paint

Jimmy “James” Rogers, Jr., age 69, passed away in Ennis on January 18, 2021. He was born on August 9, 1951, in Hope, Arkansas, to James Alton and Earlene (Hogan) Rogers. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed driving trucks across the country. He ran a local paint and body shop by the name of Delux Paint James loved fishing, cooking, tell and Body Shop. James loved fishing, cooking, telling jokes and the outdoors.

He is survived by his son, Lehman Rogers and wife Michelle of Kemp; five grandchildren, Amanda Hickman and husband Colin, Jeremy Rogers, Sierra Rogers, Aaron Bohanon, Lacy Rogers; son-in-law, Kevin Bohanon; sister, Becky Bowen and husband Jerry; brother, Dennis Rogers and wife Eva; numerous nieces, nephews and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Earlene Rogers; daughter, Jessica Bohanon; brother, Kenneth Rogers and sister, Doris Minner.

The family received friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.
