Marcy Escobar went to meet her Lord and Savior on July 6, 2021. She was 74 years old. Marcy was born in Mexico on July 6, 1947, to Martiniano and Sylveria (Escamilla) Rodriquez.

On December 3, 1966, she married Albert Escobar, the love of her life. They made their home in Ennis, where Marcy was a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Marcy worked for many years as a commercial seamstress and continued to sew for family and friends after her retirement. Marcy enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, dancing, visiting friends and family, and the occasional trip to the casino.
