Martha Ritchey

Martha Ritchey, age 86, passed away in Ennis on November 18, 2020. She was born in Ennis on November 18, 1934 to Louis and Louise (Paprska) Haba. She attended Ennis Public School, married Hubert Ritchey on March 13, 1954. She loved camping, outdoors, sewing and gardening. She and Hubert traveled the country to see historic landmarks; cruised the oceans and ventured to Czechoslovakia. Martha worked for Donovan Galvani, Ruhl Manufacturing and Atlas Sound. She was a member of Saint John Catholic Church.

Surviving Martha are children, Michael Ritchey and wife Judi; and Sharon Santos; grandchildren, Hollie Santos and spouse Victor Garcia, Robin Moseley and husband Will, and David Ritchey; great grandchildren, Desmond Johnson, Victor David Garcia, Breona Stroud, Jonathan Moseley and Kaitlyn Moseley; siblings, Mary Pecot and husband Bob, Agnes Haba, Wesley Haba and wife Patsy, Theresa Struffert, and Raymond Haba and wife Pat; numerous nieces and nephews; feline friends and the racky racoon family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Louise Haba; husband Hubert Ritchey; brother Daniel Haba, son-in-law David Santos; and brotherin law Ron Struffert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 3 to 5 p.m. and Rosary at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin chapel in Ennis.
