Robert 'Bob' Rosson

Robert “Bob” Rosson, 81, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 in Ennis, Texas.

Bob was born on August 8, 1938 to Darwin “DB” and Junie Rosson in Palestine, Texas. On January 15, 1966 he married the love of his life Susie Gibson. They moved to Bristol, Texas in 1970.

Bob joined the Army in 1961, became an MP and later transferred to the K-9 Unit. He was discharged in 1967.

Bob worked in the construction business for over 50 years doing everything from cabinetry, to Superintendent, to architect. He loved woodworking, camping, fishing, traveling, and being with his family and friends. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #400 of Elkhart.

Bob is survived by his wife of over fifty-four years, Susie Rosson; son, Keith Rosson and wife, Jamie; daughter, Carla Merrell and husband, Robert; two granddaughters: Kodie Graff and husband, Cody and Kasie Spence; two grandsons: Walker Rosson and Tucker Rosson; two great-grandsons: Bentley Graff and Ransom Graff as well as numerous friends and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Darwin “DB” and Junie Lou (Bennett) Rosson, great-grandson, Dodge Levi Graff and two precious Angels.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 11:30 am in the Pilgrim Cemetery of Elkhart, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to: The American Cancer Society, The Pilgrim Cemetery Society, The Fort Worth Aviation Museum or the charity of your choice in Bob’s name.
