Rosalie Wilhoite

Rosalie Wilhoite, 84, passed away on July 1, 2022, in Ennis, Texas.

Rosalie was born in Seiling, Oklahoma, on August 8, 1937, to Carl and Stella Campbell. She grew up in the Delaware, Oklahoma, area and graduated as Salutatorian of Childers High School in 1955. On December 1, 1956, she mar ried Lloyd C. Wilhoite, and they made their home in Ennis, Texas.

Rosalie graduated from Draughons School of Business in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and worked for Ford Motor Credit and Fine Line Ribbon. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Ennis Rebekah Lodge.

Rosalie’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed spending time with them cooking, camping and going to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities. She enjoyed playing train and dominos. Her love and sassiness will be greatly missed. Rosalie will be missed by her family. She is survived by her four daughters: Debi Allen and husband, James; Karen Slovak and husband, Kevin; Lisa Fincher and husband, Kevin; and Cindy Honza and husband, Bill. Eight grandchildren: Brandon Slovak (Samantha), Joshua Slovak (Whitney), Kacie Zhanel (Brian), Kyle Slovak (Leslie), Heather Martinez (Jesse), Alyssa Richardson (Colten), Colby Wolverton and Joseph Honza; two bonus grandchildren: Carissa Smith (Ian) and Tiffany Taylor (Josh) and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, three sisters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.

She joins her husband, parents, siblings, greatgranddaughter, and bonus grandson in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

The family wishes to thank to Julie and the Bristol Hospice for their love and care.
