Wallace Max Duren of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025. He was born Jan. 26, 1930, to Luther and Paralee Duren. He grew up in the Malta, TX community and graduated from New Boston High School in 1948. Following his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, he married the love of his life, Lena Catherine Reed.
