Willis Austin

Willis Austin was born December 11, 1933, in Mesquite, Texas, and went home to meet the Lord on April 14, 2021, in Tyler, Texas, at the age of 87.

He is preceded in death by his son, Tony Austin; parents, Willis Gary Austin and Geneva Austin; brother, Robert Lee Austin; and sisters, Darlene Austin and Mary Fredna Stanglin.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kaye Austin, of 52 years; sons: Brett Austin, Kelly Butler and wife Frances; daughter, Hollianne Hubacek and husband Buddy; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends.

Willis served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Korean Conflict. Military honors were rendered at the graveside due to his honorable and faithful service to his Country.

Services were held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, Mesquite, Texas.

Pallbearers were Michael Austin, Stefan Butler, Nate Roub, Ross Hubacek, Jerry Daniels and Greg Stutzman.
