Great escapes are the stuff of fables, tales and movies. Somehow, against all odds, a getaway is planned and executed with lifeand-death hanging in the balance. It makes for intense drama and the object bidding for liberation is certain to become a hero of sorts.

It’s been about 17 years since I spent an evening with the moon.

Our town is blessed to have a handful of service club organizations, including two of the largest in the world, the Lions Club and Rotary International. Both state they have 46,000 clubs and approximately 1.4 million members around the nation and beyond.
