Opening Night at Bluebonnet Park, April 1, was a well-attended hit, even with later games called due to a thunder and rain.
The Aces outscored the Super Sonics, 11-7, in the Game of the Week on Diamond 1. The 14U (age 14 and under) contest saw the Sonics get eight walks to the Aces’ five, compared to the latter racking up a six to five edge in hits. Both teams played well on defense.
