A longer-than desired girls basketball season came to a merciful end on Tuesday as Crandall topped Ennis, 64-25. The Lady Lions dropped their eleventh straight game to finish 4-28 overall.
Second place Crandall steadily distanced themselves from the visiting Lions, extending a 24-9 halftime lead to 37-18 after three quarters before a 29-7 blitz to hand Ennis their 24th district loss in a row.
