Ennis senior Marely Arias had a super performance Monday at the District 15-5A Cross Country Championships. The event was held at the Rustyrail Golf Course in Crandall.
By virtue of her Top Ten finish in the 3.1 mile course (in 19:52), Arias qualified for the Regional 5A Championship. She is the lone runner from Ennis to advance.
