Junior sharp-shooter Michael Ponce had one basket in the second half, but it was the game-winner. He ripped the nets from the left-side, thanks to a pass from Eli Harris, to lift the Lions to a 43-42 lead.
Ponce finished with 11-points, seven coming in the second quarter. It included a long threepointer from the right wing for a 24-12 lead, and a pair of FTs. He had 9-pts on Friday at Heritage.
