Former All-District QB and WR Wondame Davis, Junior, finished his first season at DI University of Texas at El Paso. Battling for playing time as a freshman, he fought for opportunities at both defensive back and at wide receiver.
The UTEP Miners went 3-9 overall and 3-5 in Conference USA. Davis had one reception for seven yards, which came in a 42-35 win over New Mexico State.
